EBSCO Media is one of the largest and most experienced full service sheetfed commercial printers in America. EBSCO Media’s Electronic Prepress department (EPP) embraces an all-digital workflow, where customers can easily transfer jobs via its FTP (File Transfer Protocol) site. Upon receipt of a job, EPP performs a quick preflight to ensure that all digital files are complete and ready for imposition and digital proofing. EPP’s experienced staff provides concept and design, typesetting, scanning, and layout.

All of EBSCO Media’s presses are of the same size and made by the same manufacturer, for redundancy and ease in scheduling. Production is oriented to an exacting quality standard. A variety of coatings are offered – varnish, UV coating, film laminating, and a proprietary process called MirrorMatte that produces extremely high contrast between gloss and dull image areas. In-house bindings include saddle stitching, perfect binding, notch binding, and wire-o binding.

EBSCO Media’s Print on Demand department uses digital technology to produce cost-effective short run printing as well as personalization or variable information on each impression. POD delivers short runs of printed, collated, bound material within 72 hours at excellent pricing.
